Anxiety Self Help – How to Make Anxiety Self Help Work in 5 Easy Steps?

If you suffer from anxiety attacks, then you need to realize that anxiety self help is readily available. Sadly some people in our society attach a social stigma to anxiety and panic attacks. For this reason, a lot of anxiety sufferers are not too happy to share their problem with friends who might help or know somebody who could help.

On the other hand, some people are natural introverts who may not want to share their problem with individuals they know but will possibly open up to other individuals who suffer from the same condition.

For instance, such individuals are comfortable discussing their problem in an internet forum that caters for anxiety issues because you can choose to be anonymous in those mediums. By the way, there is nothing absolutely wrong with that as such forums could also be regarded as a stream of anxiety self help.

However there are a few more potent anxiety self help that are available on the internet which you can take advantage of right from the comfort of your home without sharing if you don’t want to. The idea behind anxiety self help is you learn to deal with the cause(s) of the anxiety panic attack and more importantly apply the recommended solution(s).

With time, you will begin to see changes, positive changes that is, and your life will gradually return to normal. You will be yourself again once you banish anxiety symptoms out of your life.
Anxiety self help is not particularly plain-sailing for the vast majority of anxiety sufferers. There are all sorts of reasons for this not least wrong product choice.

Some people choose the right anxiety self help product though but for some obscure reason don’t get the desired result.

So here are 5 easy steps to getting the most out of a good anxiety self help product.

Step 1. Choose a proven product that has worked for people from all walks of life and different geographical locations. A product that is proven to banish anxiety in a cross-section of people will be most likely a good fit for you.

If you think about it, if it has worked for thousands of people, the product would have been improved with time because users send feedback to the product developer and you don’t end up being the guinea pig.

Step 2. Go through the anxiety self help product in a quiet room. If it is a manual, read it. If it is an audio product, listen to it. If it is a video, watch it. Please do this step in a secluded quiet room where there is no distraction whatsoever.

After you have gone through it, give the product a break for that day and digest the information you have learned. This might be an obvious suggestion but the next step will tell you more.

Step 3.  Go through the product again the next day but this time around, get yourself a pen and paper and take copious notes. It is amazing how you will discover some info that you didn’t pick up on your first round of reading, listening or watching. Make notes of the recovery steps suggested.

Step 4. Draw an action plan on how you are going to apply these recommended steps and be very practical. You have got to marry your plans with your lifestyle, your work and your family life.

This where a lot of people fall flat on their face because they don’t do the necessary work-around practical planning. Once you got that sorted, start implementing the steps.
A good product should make it easy for you to plan your life around the steps recommended.

Step 5. Evaluate your progress. If you are not making the desired progress, ask yourself where it is going wrong and possibly seek support from the product developer. A good anxiety self help product should have an email support for its customers because you more than likely will need some help at some point in your anxiety self help journey.

Make the necessary adjustments and don’t hesitate to seek for more support if you need it.

Follow these steps and you will give anxiety or panic attacks the cold shoulder for good.

Panic Attack Self Help – The Key Secret to Enable You to Take Back Control

Do you suffer from frequent panic attacks? These attacks can take such a physical and emotional control on you. I suffered from having panic attacks and was medically diagnosed with an anxiety disorder in the late 1990′s. I know first hand the damage that these attacks cause to an individual. If you suffer from such a condition, please be pro-active. There is a key secret that will help you get back control of your life.

Panic attack self help has become more popular in the past few years. If you have experienced these attacks, please be aware that treatment in the form of prescription medication is not the long term permanent answer. Pills will only treat the symptoms of these attacks: pain in the stomach, your heart racing almost out of control, dizziness, sweaty palms, and an inability to focus, as being some of the symptoms. Yes, popping a pill in your mouth will slow down your heart beat, or ease the pain in your stomach. However, any medication that you take for your condition simply cannot get to the root cause of these attacks. Pills cannot provide an answer as to why you are having panic attacks.

Getting rid of panic attacks forever starts with learning how to deal with them in the present. It is possible to train your mind to react in a certain way once a panic attack starts. Eventually you will get to the point where you will never have these attacks again. This will be done if you can learn to figure out the trigger (or cause) for these attacks. Your trigger is most likely due to the fact that you have irrational and illogical thoughts of an imaginary event that has not taken place.

Your trigger could be that you are afraid of driving in the dark by yourself. You are consumed with the thought that you will get lost on your trip, be unable to find your way home, (even though your car has an easy to understand global navigation system), run out of gas, have a flat tire, and be carjacked in the process of seeking directions to a filling station. Your mind spirals out of control thinking about this situation to the point where you become completely irrational. These thoughts then trigger yet another panic attack taking place within your being.

Here is the key secret to help you eventually eliminate attacks from happening in your life. Train your mind to overcome panic attacks by embracing them for what they are. Panic attacks are not some life form that has permanently taken control of your being. Some techniques that you can use once you feel the onset of a panic attacks are slow breathing exercises, (count backwards from 20 down to 1). Or, you could inhale your breath up to a count of 5 slowly, and then exhale this breath out to a count of 8. It is important that you regulate the breath as it exhales all the way until the completion of your counting. Learn yoga and meditation. Panic attacks also cause stress in the body, (as you irrationally dwell on imaginary events). A great way to get rid of stress would be to get involved in a physical exercise program. Take a walk, or jog 4-5 times per week. Get a treadmill, a stationary bike, or other form of exercise equipment. Not only does physical exercise provide excellent benefits to your cardiovascular system. But, by working up a sweat several times per week, you also release endorphins, (the toxic chemicals that cause stress) from your body naturally.

As you train your mind, realize that the panic attacks have no real control over your life. The attack itself is based on a fantasy; your mind irrationally fixating itself on imaginary events. Above all else, do not sit around worrying about the next panic attack. That would be the worst thing that you could do as it would allow your level of stress and anxiety to reach such a level that such an attack would actually take place. Instead of sitting around worrying about the future, (especially another attack) focus and distract your mind towards a different task. Do yoga, listen to soothing Classical music, read a comforting book, ride your 18 speed road bicycle; do what it takes to allow your mind to concentrate on something other than that irrational, imaginary thought swirling around in your brain.

This condition that you might be suffering from presently is a result of fear and worry over something imaginary in your mind. They’re not the results of real events that have taken place in your life. Panic attack self help is a great tool in that you learn what your fear is, and you educate yourself to take back control of the negative, illogical, and irrational thoughts that exist in your mind. Remember, a reliance on prescription medication will not solve your problems. Learn to control your attacks naturally. There is a great site which will provide you with much more information for your condition. It is at: http://curepanicattacks57.info. Remember, you do not have to go about it all by yourself. There is help available.

Self Help Techniques to Deal With Panic Attacks

If you are a chronic worrier, you have come to the right place as this article will share with you some practical tips you can use to help yourself take any anxious situation or even panic attacks in your stride. Practice the tips regularly and they will prove to be useful in helping you to remain calm and in control of your anxiety.

Identify Your Symptoms

The self help techniques for panic attacks will be more effective if you could start by identifying the symptoms or triggers that cause your anxiety level to rise unexpectedly and lead to panic attacks. Try your best to record down the events and feelings that you were going through when panic attacks strike. The idea here is to identify the chain of events so that you could find ways to cope when they happen again.

Self Talk to Curb Panic Attacks

Chronic worriers always have unnecessary negative thoughts or negative self talk that can trigger anxiety and panic attack. If you are the type of person who tends to put yourself down or never gives yourself the benefit of the doubt, you’ll tend to trigger an unnecessary anxiety. It would then lead to extensive worry or even depression. And the next thing you know you’re having a panic attack; can’t do anything right and feel hopeless.

Instead of beating yourself up, why not try to talk yourself up? Tell yourself that things are going to be fine. In fact, most of the things we worry about would never happen. Learn to look on the bright side of life; learn to focus on the solutions instead of problems.

Learn to Breathe Properly

Proper breathing can help calm your mind and body. And it’s very easy to do; just put your left hand on your stomach and start to breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose, then out through your mouth. You will feel that your hand moves in and out as your stomach expands and contracts slowly. As you let your body takes in the oxygen it needs slowly and steadily, your mind and body start to calm down.

When you become anxious, you’ll notice that your breathing rate increases and you start to take short breathes. This will make you feel panic and more anxious. By slowing your breathing and concentrating on it, you will be able to control your mind better and keep panic attack at bay.

Countdown from 100

Counting down from 100 is another useful self help tips for panic attacks. The idea is similar to the breathing technique. By counting down, you will be able to focus on something other than those that make you feel fearful and worry.

Learn to Relax

Closing your eyes and picturing yourself in a faraway place that is peaceful and relaxing can help calm your mind. Another relaxation technique is to focus on muscle relaxation; close your eyes and focus on your arms, repeatedly tell them to relax. Repeat the process by focusing on your legs and other parts of your body.

If you practice these relaxation techniques often enough; they will become your second nature and you will be able to use them more naturally to calm your mind, slow your heart rate and stabilize your blood pressure. These are just some of the self help tips you can practice and use to combat panic attacks.

Lose Weight Fast – Build Self-Confidence & Develop Self-Esteem to Lose Weight Fast

There’s an easy way to lose weight fast, and that’s to build self-confidence & develop self-esteem. you are probably wondering, “How can it be easy?” There are actually self-help skills, which are based on an ancient document, that work. The confidence-building methods helped me lose weight fast, and so they could do the same for you.

I’ll tell you about it in this commentary, but first let’s talk about packing on the pounds.

We often get too busy with day-to-day tasks to fit in a few minutes for exercise. We don’t do enough, in those mundane chores, to burn all the excess calories we get from fast food, and junk food, that we eat.

It’s just so much easier to stop by the burger-barn than it is to make a good & wholesome meal choices, which are low in calories. Besides that, who wants to exercise when you can kick your feet up and watch TV?

So we don’t burn the calories that we need to use, and; you guessed it, we gain weight. Our hips and thighs get fat; and our bellies pop out to make it look like we drink a whole lot of beer.

One day we start thinking about health risk; like diabetes and heart disease, which are associated with obesity. So we decide to go on a diet to try to lose weight fast.

But our willpower melts, and we get back into the same old rut; but it’s even worse than that. We start feeling guilty because we cheated on our diet, which leads to eating more “comfort food;” like ice cream and cake.

And guess what. We get fatter than before we started our diets.

I have good news for you. There really is an easy way to lose weight fast without the guilt associate with dieting.

Build Self-Confidence & Develop Self-Esteem to Lose Weight Fast with Self-help Skills

Now let’s talk about self-help skills that have confidence-building methods to develop self-esteem and build self-confidence, which are bases on Aristotle Ethics, that can help you lose weight fast.

The methods I’m speaking of are Easy-to-do; and they really do work. They will help you build self-confidence to develop self-esteem, which in turn will make it easier for you to lose weight fast.

I know it works because I got pretty fat; and I lost over 10 pounds a month for 6 months. Not only that, but I’ve kept it off without dieting or going to the gym.

The Aristotle Ethics’ confidence-building system is designed for you to change your thoughts on the subconscious level, so making the right diet choices is easier. That’s because you will be using the Power of your subconscious mind without really having to think about it all the time; like you do with dieting.

Self-Help Skills and Confidence-Building

The confidence-building routine, which are self-help skills, make it easier to subconsciously make the right choices.

And they are so Easy-to-do that; well, you can actually perform the self-help skills while you are in your underwear & relaxing in a Lazy-boy; or even while you are reclining on your bed.

It can help you overcome the temptation to take shortcuts, which could be unhealthy–Or even dangerous, and could actually cost you your life, over time.

You don’t want to get hooked on a fad diet to lose weight fast, because of the associated guilt factor. Many times dieting will encourage you to continue to make unhealthy choices.

Use the Power of your subconscious mind to lose weight fast. Develop that Power of your subconscious mind. Use use a formula of self-help skills, which is rooted in Aristotle Ethics; if you really want to lose weight fast and keep it off.

Anxiety Natural Remedies – 7 Powerful Self Help Tips to Cure Anxiety

Using anxiety natural remedies as an alternate form of treatment is no doubt the safest way to curing anxiety without any side effects. The best part of using anxiety natural remedies is that they can be integrated into your everyday lives without you having the need to pay regular visits to the medical establishments.

Here are 7 natural remedies to counter anxiety that you can start using immediately:

Anxiety Self Help Tips #1

Relax The Body – Aromatherapy can help relief stress and ease your muscles. Essential oils that are good for anxiety reliefs are: lavender, jasmine, rose, melissa, sandalwood and cypress. You can easily get them from off the shelf.

Anxiety Self Help Tips #2

Replenish Your Minerals – Minerals like magnesium and calcium contributes to the proper functioning of your nervous system. They are needed to ensure the proper running of the electrical signals from your brain and also to support the transfer cell to cell information respectively. In fact, these 2 minerals work hand in hand with each other, ensuring proper tensing and contraction of your muscles. In other words, they help in maintaining the proper health of your brain and physical well being.

Anxiety Self Help Tips #3

Vitamins B and C – The B vitamins, especially B6 and B12, ensures that your body respond well towards stress. The C vitamins in turn, plays an important role in regulating and maintaining your stress levels. Both of them also contains anti-oxidants that will help in enhancing your stress coping ability.

Anxiety Self Help Tips #4

Drink More Water – Of all anxiety natural remedies, this is probably the simplest of them all. Water is the flow of life and is essential for survival. Water not only hydrates the body but also clears the toxins in them. In fact, a body that is lack of water can induce stress and fatigue. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day helps to energise your body and reduce anxiety.

Anxiety Self Help Tips #5

Connect With Life – The easiest way to stop thinking about anxiety is not to think about it. Forcing yourself not to think about it is not going to work. However, if you can find something which you like doing, you will then be able to focus your time and energy on that activity. When you focus your attention and enjoy what you are doing, not only are you are relaxing your mind and body, you unconsciously forget about your anxiety.

Anxiety Self Help Tips #6

Watch What You Eat – Avoid food that induces stress and encourage anxiety. These anxiety natural remedies are not going to work if you keep “replenishing” the bad stuffs that you are trying to remove. For example, coffee and alcohol. These drinks depletes your body of water. Coffee also stimulates your nervous system, thereby increasing your stress and anxiety level.

Anxiety Self Help Tips #7

Calm Your Mind: Mind calming exercises can actually help reduce stress levels and ease you of your worries. Some mind calming activities you can engage in includes yoga and meditation. Both focuses on the breathing techniques that helps to ease your body of tension and stress.

One of the easiest anxiety natural remedies to calm your mind is an exercise call “gratification”. Simply close your eyes and think about the things that you are grateful for. This can be your friends, parents or even the air you breathe. This simple exercise will help ease your worries and relax your mind while appreciating all the wonderful things around you.
