I guess this article would be classified as a review of the hydro floss oral irrigator based on personal observation and use.This is a powerful tool that should be talked about.

At one point, my dentist and her assitant hygienist wanted to convince me that something had to be done about my gingivitis problems. They were quite sober and determined in their explanation of what they felt was a necessary treatment.

Their idea of a workable solution was something called a ‘Scaling and Root Planing’ treatment. This is also referred to as a SRP.

This was not an exciting thing to hear. It just didn’t sound like it was something that I wanted to go through.

The dentist’s helper exclaimed that she intended to dig around below the gum line with special tools that she had been trained to use. This would allow her to remove the build-up of tartar there. She would also make the surfaces smooth so that it would not be easy for the tartar to return.

This procedure appeared to be even worse than I first imagined. It was no comfort to hear her say that she could numb my gums up so that I wouldn’t feel a thing!

I had a feeling that it was going to hurt a little when that medication finally wore off. This was not the kind of life experience that I would remember fondly.

She explained that should I decide not to have this therapy, they could not be held accountable for what could happen to my teeth. I was asked to signify that I understood this by putting my signature on a waiver. Could things get any worse?

Candidly speaking, I imagined that I was becoming the victim of some slick marketing tactics. I really felt that this was some type of pushy marketing tactic.

Then we reached the point where I made up my mind.The dentist’s assistant said that it would be in my best interest to start right away.She was interested in replacing my regular cleaning with this special treatment.

Her reasoning certainly made a lot of sense. The big sticking factor seemed to be insurance. Should I get the standard, regular cleaning procedure now, insurance might not be inclined to pay for the advanced one later.I felt at a deep level that this needed to be pondered a bit before I could agree to it.

I felt strongly opposed to this for some reason, therefore I said, “no” to the treatment.The waiver was never mentioned again after that – which seemed a bit strange.

All of this sounded a bit ‘off’ to me. There had to be another way for my gums to be healthy again.

I was surprised to discover that a person I knew had undergone this procedure.She explained that she did not like the results.

I looked for an answer that would make sense to me.I ‘discovered’ the hydrofloss. I sent away for one.

The day my package arrived containing the hydrofloss, I was very hopeful. I happened to know that the package should have arrived with an instructional video in it, but my package didn’t have one.

I contacted them and respectfully requested that they send me the instructional video.It was easy sailing from that point on and I received the video.I was absolutely excited after viewing the video.

I was pretty confident that this tool was going to help me.I began using it often every single day.

Somewhere around five months elapsed before it was time to visit the dentist again. Their reaction made me feel good.

This was the same doctor and assistant that had looked at my gums previously. Each agreed that there was a vast improvement. In fact, they told me that there was no need for that scaling and root planing now.

You most likely realize that I was very, very happy to learn of my results. I continue to utilize the hydro floss every day, unless I’m out of town travelling.

Can You Benefit From Knowing About Your Past Life?

Almost all cultures of the word from Japanese to Australian and African to Aborigines believe in reincarnation. Whether it’s a Wiccan or a Hindu, every religion believes that all of us have lived in the past as different people and that past life has made us what we are today.

What you are now and who you believed you are now is an influence of your past life including your health, your mental well being, and your social interactions are all influenced by your past life. Past Life Regression – How can you tell you have a past life? You may not be able to, but in many cases you will have disturbing dreams, or memories while you’re awake that do not belong to you. Many people who believe in reincarnation believe that we all have past lives (though if you do the math, it’s more probable that there are at least some new souls!) Other indications:

* Are you strongly attracted to a specific culture or place that does not hold any place of importance in your present life? This is by no means an exhaustive list, and just the fact that you have one of these indicators does not mean you are remembering a past life. Look for patterns in your life, ranges of things that attract you for no good reason, and you may start to home in on similarities that will help you piece together an idea of what your past life or lives may have been.

As you recall your life in the past, it will generate after effects in your feelings. If you feel good, your past life could have been good. If you feel bad after the process, your past life could have been bad as well. Although some memories and past life events are not good for you, it does not mean that you will have the same bad fate in the current life. It is only a recollection of your past life for your benefits.

It is the remembering of this past life, which is important; and once you have remembered, you can start to move on. It is only the subconscious suppression of these memories which causes problems. By understanding and accepting what happened in the past you can start to experience this present life with a totally different outlook.

There is a theory of ‘Karma’ which says that, if we were good people in one life, and committed kind and positive acts, then we will have ‘good Karma’ and subsequently, we will receive ‘good’ in all future lives – unless we change and become ‘bad’ people! If that happens, personal Karma changes and negative events will hound us throughout future lives until we have suffered enough to atone and revert back to being a ‘good soul’.

However, there is often confusion by people over this interpretation. We are not destined to be bad or deserve to suffer because of a past life. With each new life we are literally born anew and it is our own choice to do the things you do. Once you realize that a certain memory is from a previous life, and you are not a ‘bad’ person now, then you can go on to have a ‘good’ life in the present.

Being in a foreign country can be so frustrating especially if you can not understand the local language. You may start asking yourself what you are doing there anyway and missing home is inevitable. I know someone who fell into a major depression after going overseas to pursue her studies. It took two months to get that person out of the “slump” .

There are many more people who need to be encouraged from time to time. These include those who are sick and those in prisons. As you live through each day, always remember that someone needs you to speak some few uplifting words.

For those unfamiliar with the term, I have good news; lucid dreaming is actually a pretty simple concept. A Lucid Dream is a dram in which you are aware that you are dreaming.
